I started making my own hot sauces because I was tired of all the preservatives, flavorings, powdered spices and artificial ingredients that many hot sauces contain. I pride myself in finding the right combination of Fruits and Vegetables to make each Sauce unique. I always follow high levels of Safety and cleanliness. I Hot fill all my bottles, seal and shrink wrap the lids immediately after cooking and my PH Levels are checked and recorded. I will start posting them on the bottle labels soon. Bacteria can not grow in PH levels below 4.3, mine are all in the 2's and 3's so they have a long shelf life when left unopened.
I make all my sauces myself, including the bottling, designing the labels, making the labels and packaging each bottle. I only Charge $5.00 each because I want people to not have to spend a lot to try different flavors.
First off, it has nothing to do with the toilet or anything. My wife and I owned a commercial kitchen and our kids worked there off and on. My job was fixing things when they broke which was mostly the sinks or drains.
The kids nicknamed me when something broke and needed fixing. They would say “Call the Plumber!”. That became the name I used on my very first Hot Sauce “Call the Plumber”.
I have created Hot Sauces from Very Hot, to Medium to Very Low Heat and even one that is Not Hot at all and gentle on your stomach. I even have a Daily Heart Healthy Splash Sauce, a Brand New Steak Sauce and a BBQ sauce using no Liquid Smoke, Molasses, Ketchup, Worcestershire, Powders, Seasonings or Soy Sauce.
